DH Coupler (C Clamp & B Clamp)

DH coupler is a type of scaffolding coupler used to attach a scaffold tube to a vertical standard at a right angle (90 degrees) or attach a scaffold tube and steel channel to economy form panels in formwork construction. DH couplers have an eye bolt, a locating plate for the eye bolt, and hooks at the end of the clamp.
In an economy formwork system, the hooks secure into the hole of the periphery of the economy panels thus preventing the clamps from moving and falling out when attached.
DH couplers have short and long types in sizes. Long-size DH couplers are called C Clamps in the economy formwork system, and short-type DH couplers are called B clamps.
Long DH C clamps are used to secure a 100x50mm channel to the economy panels.
Short DH clamps are used to secure the OD48mm scaffold tube to the economy panels.

Scaffold DH Coupler Size & Specifications
The distance between the hooks of the DH coupler is 52mm. This size is convenient for locking OD48mm standard scaffold tubes and standard 100x50mm steel channels. 52mm is also designed to match with the 50mm holes on the economy panels. The short DH B Clamp is 120mm. The long DH C clamp is 170mm. DH coupler eye bolts are 8.8 class.

DH couplers can be used in all scaffold tube clamp systems and modular scaffolding systems of kwikstage(quickstage) system scaffold, ringlock scaffold, cuplock scaffolding, etc. They can fix two scaffold tubes/poles at a right angle like the following photos.
How to Use DH Coupler In Economy Formwork System
- If you want to fix steel channels to the economy form panels, you need to choose long DH C clamps. The long size can hold a 100mm width of steel channel.
- If you want to fix the scaffold tube to the economy form panels, you can choose the short clamp B. The short size is enough to hold OD48mm sizes tubes.
