Scaffold Wind Board Bracket (Batten Clamp)
The scaffold wind board bracket is a component of the BS1139-compliant kwikstage modular scaffolding system, used to secure scaffold battens in high-wind conditions and protect them from tilting, overturning and swaying.
The wind board brackets are also called batten clamps or batten camps. They consist of two half-scaffold couplers at each end, fixed to the kwikstage standards during erection and positioned above the edges of the work platforms.
Sizes of the wind board brackets are 4’2”(1.27m) and 2’8” (0.812m). Customised sizes are available as well.

Kwikstage Scaffold Wind Board Bracket
Wind board brackets are made of a steel plate with two half scaffold clamps at each end. They are designed to match the sizes of the kwikstage scaffold battens and to secure the scaffold batten boards against swaying, removing and overturning in high-wind conditions.
The kwikstage scaffold wind board brackets include 5 boards and 3 boards in standard. 5 Boards bind board bracket is 4’2″(*1.27m) used to retain a 5-board-wide work platform for the kwikstage scaffold construction. While the 3 board wind bracket is 2’8″(0.812m) to secure the 3-board-wide work platform in construction.
In construction, the scaffold wind board brackets are fixed to the kwikstage standards by the end scaffolding clamps and positioned above the edges of the scaffold platform. Using the wind board bracket, secure the kwikstage scaffold work platform stability and safety in high-wind conditions.
