Wedge Head Coupler

Wedge-head couplers are a type of scaffold clamp adapter used to connect scaffolding pipes to the ringlock system. It is composed of a scaffold half coupler and one set of ringlock wedge head (assembled ringlock ledger head and wedge pin) at a right angle or 360 degrees.

According to the degrees of the wedge head couplers, there are the wedge head swivelling adapter coupler and the wedge head right-angle adapter coupler.

Using wedge head adapters can reinforce the ringlock scaffolding system by adding scaffold tubes or beams (ladder beam, unit beam, etc.). Increase the ringlock scaffolding load capacity and enhance the stability and flexibility.

Wedge Head Coupler

A wedge-head coupler is also called a ledger-head coupler, wedge-head clamp, wedge-head adapter coupler, etc. They are scaffold fittings with a ringlock wedge-head element used in the ringlock scaffolding system. Wedge head adapter coupler, including wedge-head swivel coupler and wedge-head right-angle (fixed) clamps.

Swivelling wedge head clamps are used to fix scaffold tubular elements (beams, tubes, etc.) to rosette rings of ringlock verticals at any angle (360 degrees).

Right-angle wedge head clamps connect scaffold tubes (or tubular beams) to the ringlock rings at a 90-degree angle.

The ringlock wedge head clamps are finished in hot-dip galvanised or zinc-plated for anti-corrosion purposes.
