The spindle attachment with a wedge head is a part of the European standards ringlock scaffolding system. It is used to secure the scaffold screw jack base and ringlock starting elements(base collar) from falling out when moving the scaffolding by crane.

The spindle attachment with wedge head is also called a spindle attachment, a jack holder, a spindle wedge, a spindle headstock, etc. It is composed of a square tube, a set of hooks and a set of ringlock ledger head and wedge pin. In construction, the hooks hold the spindle nuts, while the wedge heads connect to the rosette rings of the verticals, fixing the scaffold elements without loosening during moving.
