Right Angle Wedge Clamps
The right-angle wedge clamps are also called fixed, 90-degree, double, or RAW scaffolding wedge clamps (or couplers). They are designed with intersected, heated, high-strength steel bars and a wedge-locking mechanism that provides high load capacity, withstands freezing temperatures, and is efficient.
The scaffolding right-angle wedge clamps conform to CSA, ANSI and OSHA standards. They are the scaffolding fittings that lock scaffold tubes at right angles and are suitable for both steel and aluminium tubular scaffolding systems.
The size of the right-angle wedge clamp scaffold fittings is O.D. 48.3mm, which is compatible with the regular standard scaffold tube outer diameter of 1.5″ or 48.3mm in scaffolding fixing and connecting.
For anti-rust purposes, the scaffolding right-angle wedge clamps are typically hot-dip galvanised. Hot-dip galvanising makes the scaffold right-angle wedge clamps more durable, helping them resist rust over the long term. E-galvanised (zinc-plated) is also available and cheaper than hot dip galvanising.
