Nested Lock Scaffolding
Nested lock scaffolding is a scaffold system with modular components of ring-base-equipped standard verticals and head-wedge-equipped horizontal ledgers, used to form scaffold frames and towers for construction and mainly designed for Indonesian contractors.
Ring bases are accessories for nested lock scaffolding standards, while head wedges are horizontal parts of nested scaffolding. They are designed as an integrated system, making the modular scaffold safe, easy to assemble, and cost-effective to manufacture.
In construction, the integrated head-wedges horizontals are fixed to the integrated ring base of the verticals, forming the scaffold frames and towers.
Nested lock scaffold standards are made of O.D. 48.3×3.2 mm scaffold tubes with a top socket connector, while the horizontals are made of O.D. 48.3×3.0 mm scaffold tubes.

Nested Lock Scaffolding VS Kwikstage Scaffolding (Star Shore or Speed Shore In Indonesia)
Both kwikstage scaffolding and nested lock scaffolding are metal modular scaffold systems commonly used in Indonesia. Differences between these two scaffold systems:
- Nested lock scaffolding standards have integrated ring bases shaped like nests; kwikstage scaffolding standards have four V-clips shaped like stars.
- Nested lock scaffold standards’ ring bases are integrated; kwikstage scaffolding standards are designed with four V-clips welded piece by piece on the vertical tubes.
- Nested lock scaffold horizontals are with integrated head wedges, no need for assembly; kwikstage scaffolding horizontals need an assembly wedge pin to the wedge head in production.
- Nested lock scaffolds are made of O.D. 48.3×3.2 mm scaffold tubes; kwikstage scaffolds are made of O.D. 48.3×4.0 mm scaffold tubes, which take more load and are used for heavy shore scaffolds.
