M12 Screw -in Eye Bolt with Nylon Plug
M12 eye bolts are components of the scaffolding anchoring system. They used to fix scaffolding towers to permanent structures such as walls, concrete, or bricks in construction to increase scaffolding load capacity, safety, and stability.
The scaffold anchoring eye bolts are with sharp screws and eyelets. This design is convenient for drilling into the wall and connecting to anchor tubes with hook, then fixing the scaffolding to the wall with scaffolding clamps (normally right-angle or swivel couplers).
The scaffold eyelet bolts are made of general carbon steel(called GS), 12mm in diameter, with a zinc-plate finish, which can withstand sufficient load and is anti-corrosive.
In scaffolding construction, the anchoring eye bolts work with the Nylon plug to increase holding power and resistance to pull-out. Using the nylon plug allows the eye bolt to be used with the hollow bricks (which are brittle and easy to crack) without being loose.
How to Use The Eye Bolt In Scaffolding Construction
- Drill a hole in the wall
- Fixing the eye bolt nylon plug inside the hole
- Screw in the eye bolt inside the nylon plug
- The Nylong plug will expand inside the hole during screw-in
- Hook the anchor tube with the eyelet of the eye bolt
- Fix the anchor tube to the scaffolding tower with scaffold clamps
Eye Bolt and Scaffolding System
M12 eye bolt is compatible with all scaffolding systems and tube clamp scaffold, frame scaffolding, by using the wall tie tube (steel tube with hooks) and the correct scaffold clamps.
For example, you can choose O.D. 48.3×48.3 mm right-angle or swivel clamps to lock the anchoring system to major scaffold systems such as ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage, etc.
For O.D. 42 mm diameter scaffolding frames, you can use O.D.48.3x42mm scaffold fittings
For O.D. 60mm heavy duty scaffolding systems or shoring frame, you can use O.D48.3x60mm scaffold coulers.
