Kwikstage Truss Transoms
Kwikstage truss transoms are parts of the Australian standard kwikstage system scaffold. They are available in dimensions from 1.2m to 2.4m, made of 50x50mm angle irons, which provide a seat for steel planks without hooks and carry heavy loads in access scaffold construction.
The truss transoms have top and bottom horizontals:
- Top horizontal parts made of back-to-bank angle irons to receive scaffold planks and stairs
- Bottom horizontals are made of O.D 48.3mm scaffold tubes
- Top and Bottom horizontals are supported & Reinforced by Vertical and Diagonals

Kwikstage Truss Transom For Sale
Kwikstage truss transoms are AS/NZS 1576 standard kwikstage system parts. It provides pedestrian access when heavy-load-capacity bridging is required in kwikstage construction. They have four connections to the V clips (stars) of the kwikstage system verticals, providing a stable, robust scaffold structure for large-scale scaffolding and shoring.
Kwikstage scaffold truss transoms are made of 50x50mm angle iron, back-to-back, and are used to receive kwikstage scaffold battens (scaffolding planks without hooks). The scaffold truss transoms also work with the aluminium stairs, forming scaffold work platforms and access ways in construction.
