Solid adjustable base plates are one type of scaffold base jack, specially composite with a solid threaded steel rod(spindle jack) and a base plate at the bottom of the solid spindle.

Solid adjustable base plates have the same function as scaffold base jacks, which are used to level scaffolding and systems on uneven ground, help distribute the load evenly and prevent the structure from sinking into soft surfaces.

Solid VS Hollow Adj Base Plate

The stems of solid adjustable base plates are made from steel round rods or bars, while hollow adjustable base plates/jacks are made of welded or seamless hollow scaffold tubes/pipes. Both have a jack nut on the treaded jacks as a handle that can turn up and down during scaffolding standards/uprights leveling in construction.

Solid Adjustable Base Plate Sizes and Specifications

For Anti-corrosion purposes, adjustable scaffold solid base plates are zinc plated(cold -galvanized or E-galvanized) or hot-dip galvanized.

  7. Fix scaffold standards by diagonal braces
  8. Put scaffold decks and access stairs
  9. Erect more standards and ledgers, braces, and decks to designed height
