6 Ton Scaffold Screw Jack Base UK

6 Ton Scaffold Screw Jack Base is a Scaffold Screw Jack with a 6mm Base Plate, a 38x5mm Adjustable Hollow Screw Stem and One Special Screw Jack Collar that Designed to Take Heavy Duty Safety Working Load Capacity of 6 tons after a 3:1 safety factor. It is a Scaffolding Part for BS1139 (O.D. 48.3 x 4.0mm ) Tube and Clamp System Scaffold Construction, which is widely used in the UK.  It is also known as a 6-ton jack base, 6-ton base jacks, etc.

The 6-ton jack bases function as levelling feet at the bottom of the scaffold verticals in the tubular scaffolding. They make the scaffold levelling well even on uneven ground, which makes the tube and clamp system scaffolding versatile for all construction conditions at the project sites.

6 Ton Scaffold Base Jack

6 ton screw base jack are 38mm diameter, can insert into the inner of O.D 48.3×4.0mm scaffold tubes. The 5mm thickness of the 6-ton jack base enables the scaffolding jacks to bear more weight compared to the standard 4-ton base jack, which has a 4.0mm thickness.

6-ton base jacks have an overall height of 650 mm, with an adjustable height range of 40 mm to 500 mm.

In construction, plastic scaffold pad or scaffold sole boards are placed under the 6 ton screw jacks if the ground is soft or not hard enough.

6 Ton screw jacks are typically finished in zinc-plated for anti-corrosion purposes.
